EVC EXPANSION
Building for the Future
On Sunday, December 12th, 2021, our church voted to move forward with our EVC Expansion! This is a 5.4 million-dollar building project that will allow our church to meet needs and impact our community like never before.
Construction Update:
An exciting step forward in our building project happened this week! On September 14, our finished concrete floors were poured into the areas of our new commons and gym. Next, preparation for the foundation of the expanded Kids space will begin, and conventional steel will be moved in for the new commons space.
Your generosity makes all this possible, and we can’t wait to see the life change that takes place in these areas!
New Expanded Commons
Our new Commons provides more entrances to our church and connects our current Commons to our new gymnasium. This space also provides a warm and welcoming place for us to connect and meet for classes, life groups, and more!
More Space for Kids and Students
The most significant part of our expansion is the addition of more space more our Kids and Student Ministries! This includes a new Kids Commons, six new kids classrooms, additional bathrooms, a new indoor playscape, a gymnasium for our students, and an outdoor playground. This investment into the next generation will help us invite in more of our community, love them well, and develop them as disciples. The ministry doesn't stop there! Through our partnership with Lionheart Children's Academy, our expanded Kids space will also be used to provide excellent, christ-centered childcare to our growing community! Partnering with Lionheart gives us a unique opportunity to meet a real need in our local area while bringing families into our church who may have never visited otherwise.
