Why Give?

We believe generosity is more than a transaction. It is an act of worship, trust, and participation in what God is doing through His Church.

When we give, we are reminding our hearts that everything we have ultimately belongs to God. Generosity helps loosen our grip on fear, comparison, and control, while growing our faith and dependence on Him.

At Eagles View Church, giving fuels ministry both inside and outside the walls. Your generosity helps create spaces where people can encounter Jesus, find community, grow in their faith, and experience hope. It supports ministries for kids, students, families, outreach efforts, missions partners, and practical care for people in need.

We do not give out of pressure or obligation. We give because God has been generous toward us first.

How Giving Works at EVC

  • General Fund Giving

    Supports the overall mission and ministry of Eagles View Church, including weekly ministry, worship gatherings, discipleship, students, kids ministry, outreach, care ministries, staffing, and day-to-day operations that help ministry happen each week.

  • Designated Giving

    Supports specific ministries, initiatives, projects, or outreach opportunities beyond the church’s general operating fund, allowing people to contribute toward areas they feel especially passionate about.

Every gift helps make ministry possible at Eagles View Church. Through the generosity of our church family, lives are being impacted each week through worship, discipleship, outreach, care ministries, and opportunities for people of all ages to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

  • Giving helps support worship gatherings, teaching, production, livestream ministry, creative resources, and the environments that help people connect with God each weekend.

  • Generosity helps provide and maintain safe, welcoming spaces where ministry can happen each week. From campus upkeep and technology to security, utilities, and behind-the-scenes support, these resources help create environments where people can gather, worship, and grow in community.

  • Your support helps share the message of Jesus both inside and outside the walls of the church through livestream ministry, photography, video, social media, design, communication, and digital resources that help people stay connected and engaged throughout the week.

 
 

Your Generosity at Work

Generosity at EVC reaches beyond a Sunday morning. Through ministries within our church, partnerships in our community, and EVC GO around the world, your giving helps create opportunities for people to experience the love of Christ in tangible ways.

  • “When I give to EVC, I know those funds will be used to serve people within our church and throughout our community.”

    As an Eagles View Church partner, I have seen first-hand how our Church and its associated programs impact many people’s lives here in our community. When I give to EVC, I know that those funds will be used to serve those within our Church, as well as others in our community.

    One of the ministries that attracted us to EVC was the Senior Adult Ministry. This ministry offers a number of different activities, but the one we enjoy the most is the Friday night Game Night. The Church provides a meal and snacks, after which we enjoy an evening of table games with other members of EVC. It is a great way to meet a lot of other Church members, have fellowship with them, and enjoy a very affordable night out!

    The Meals on Wheels program is another ministry that our Church is involved with and I enjoy being a part of. Five days a week, a team of EVC volunteers helps to get the meals organized and handed off to the drivers who deliver them to some of our homebound neighbors. There is no direct cost to our Church for this program, as it is all volunteer-run, but without the Church building we could not perform this service. This program is a real blessing to some of our senior neighbors, who are in need of both a nutritional meal and a visit from a friendly delivery person.

    Recently, I went through the Stephen Ministers training that our Church offered and became a part of the Stephen Ministers team. Basically, we are lay congregation members, trained to provide one-to-one care to those experiencing a difficult time in life, such as grief, divorce, job loss, broken relationships, chronic or terminal illness, or relocation. The young man I am meeting with has expressed to me on a number of occasions how important our relationship is to him, as he works through some difficult life circumstances.

    It is difficult to determine quantitatively how much the ministries our Church offers benefit our Church partners, others within our community, and our community as a whole. However, I can assure you from my first-hand experience that these ministry programs do make a big difference in the lives of the many people who are receiving them.

  • “Our testimony helps others know that God can restore broken marriages.”

    I’m glad to say that I have seen the impacts that EVC has had on my life, the lives of those in my family, and the lives of those in the community!

    My wife (April) and I started to attend EVC after we went through a three-month separation in our marriage. When we attended EVC for the first time, we felt very welcome, the message was very timely, and we were able to meet with Pastor Daniel, who prayed over our marriage. We then started to attend Precept and Re|Engage, which helped my wife and I start to study God’s Word together, but also helped us to build relationships with others within the church.

    April and I now have a much better marriage and are helping facilitate Re|Engage. Facilitating Re|Engage gives us the opportunity to help others overcome the challenges that we faced for years when we didn’t have God at the center of our marriage, and our testimony helps others know that God can restore broken marriages. We have seen several couples get through re|engage and open up about how the class helped them to discuss difficult topics that would normally be ignored.

    About a year ago, our daughter (who never studied the Bible or showed interest in doing so) asked if she could join Precept. After she joined Precept, she started to sit with my wife and I each week as we went through the Precept material. Our daughter has now been through two Precept classes, knows more about the Bible, and even understands the main concepts discussed during Sunday services (e.g., grace, forgiveness, and Jesus as Lord and Savior). We are glad that she has decided to continue to join Precept even though she is the youngest in the class.

    All that said, I am very thankful for EVC’s impact on my life, the lives of those in my family, and on the lives of those in our community!

  • “That generosity creates the spaces and opportunities for women to find the same kind of community, hope, healing, and sisterhood that has meant so much to me.”

    EVC Women’s Ministry has truly transformed my life in ways I never could have imagined. It’s more than just a ministry; it’s a community, a family of women who have become true sisters in Christ.

    These women have walked alongside me through the highs and the lows, celebrated with me, cried with me, comforted me, loved me, and most importantly, prayed for me. We don’t just show up for each other; we go to battle for one another, standing firmly in prayer and pointing each other back to Jesus.

    There’s something so powerful about knowing you have women who will fight for you in the spiritual battles, carry you when you’re weary, and remind you that you are a daughter of the King.

    I’ve experienced firsthand how God uses this ministry to connect women together, grow our faith, and create a sisterhood that continually points everything back to Jesus.

    And I’m so grateful to be a part of this ministry, to serve with these amazing women of the Lord, and for everyone who pours into this ministry because that generosity creates the spaces and opportunities for women to find the same kind of community, hope, healing, and sisterhood that has meant so much to me.

  • “Community Link is a real-world example of God providing more to those who manage well the resources they’ve been given.”

    The biggest impact I’ve seen from Eagles View’s impact and investment has been with Community Link.

    Eagles View helped form Community Link about 20 years ago, and over the years it has grown into a multi-million-dollar nonprofit that has made a significant impact in the community by addressing food insecurity, mental health, and case management.

    As the impact of the pandemic took hold in 2020, the federal government made efforts to offer grants throughout the country to serve people in need. Texas received such a grant, and our State Representative Charlie Geren called the team one night and asked, “If we included you in a multi-year, multi-million-dollar grant, would you be able to handle it?”

    The Community Link team swallowed hard and said, “Yes!” Community Link enhanced its ability to meet food insecurity needs in the area and added case management services to help people with needs beyond food, like rental deposits, CDL training, and more. They also formed the Link to Hope counseling center, which served the mental health needs of people in the community who otherwise couldn’t afford it.

    Community Link managed their allotment so well that Texas came back to the team after a year or so and said, “These other folks haven’t been doing a great job accounting for the grant money, but you have. How about we give you more so that you can make a bigger impact?” Again, the team said yes and managed these funds wisely.

    This grant continued for several years, but ended in 2025. The Community Link Mission has found new and innovative ways to serve the community through hydroponic gardening and temperature-controlled lockers.

  • Yes. Eagles View Church is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which means qualifying donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

    You can access your giving statements through Church Center for your personal records and tax filing purposes. If you need help locating your statement, our team would be happy to assist you.

  • Generosity shifts our trust away from money and toward God. Jesus talked often about money because it is deeply connected to our hearts. Giving becomes a practical way we worship, trust, and participate in what God is doing through His Church.

  • We never want giving to come from guilt or unhealthy pressure. If you are walking through financial hardship, we encourage you to seek wisdom, prayer, and support. The heart behind generosity matters more than the amount.


  • Yes. Certain funds and initiatives may be available for designated giving, such as missions, benevolence, or special outreach efforts. You can select available funds during the giving process.

  • Not at all. We want every person to feel welcomed and loved regardless of whether they give financially. Generosity is an invitation, not a requirement for belonging.
