At Eagles View Church, all church planting, global missions, and local outreach fall under the umbrella of EVC GO.

Our mission is rooted in Jesus’ words from Matthew 28:19–20, where He calls His followers to “go and make disciples of all nations.” This command is often understood as “as you are going, make disciples,” reminding us that the mission of God is not limited by geography. Wherever we go, we are called to make Jesus known.

In a world that feels smaller every day, we believe God has called us both individually and as a church to go into our community and to the ends of the earth, sharing the hope of the gospel.

Each year, our church receives a special EVC GO Gift. One hundred percent of this gift goes outside the walls of Eagles View Church to support ministry locally and globally. One of our deepest convictions is to be a radically generous church, with a long-term vision of giving more away than we use for ourselves.

The EVC GO Gift Offering this year will take place on March 1, 2026.

How can we participate in Christ with the Persecuted Church?

  • Scripture
John 17:11–12 (NLT) — “Holy Father, you have given me your name; now protect them by the power of your name so that they will be united just as we are… During my time here, I protected them by the power of the name you gave me.”

    What This Means
Jesus prayed for the protection and unity of His followers. We join Him in guarding the Body of Christ — spiritually, relationally, and practically.

    How We Protect

    • Guard unity and refuse division

    • Walk in wisdom

    • Live above reproach

    Action Step
Pray daily for persecuted believers and commit to protecting unity in your own church.

  • Scripture
Revelation 5:8 (NLT) — “They held gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of God’s people.”

    What This Means
Our prayers rise before God. They are not symbolic. They are powerful. When believers suffer persecution, we stand with them by lifting their names before the throne.

    Prayer connects the global Church.

    How to Pray

    • Pray for strength, courage, and endurance

    • Pray for families facing pressure or loss

    • Pray for boldness and fruit in the midst of opposition

    Resources

    Action Step
Choose one persecuted region or ministry this week and pray for them daily.

  • Scripture
2 Corinthians 9:12–13 (NLT) — “Two good things will result from this ministry of giving… the needs of the believers will be met, and they will joyfully express their thanks to God.”

    What This Means
Generosity meets practical needs and magnifies God’s glory. When we give, we are not just funding projects. We are strengthening believers, planting churches, and advancing the gospel in difficult places.

    Giving is partnership.

    Action Step
Pray about how God may be leading you to give through EVC GO in support of the persecuted Church.

  • Scripture
Philippians 1:3–5 (NLT) — “…you have been my partners in spreading the Good News about Christ from the time you first heard it until now.”

    What This Means
The global Church is not separate from us. We are one body. When one part suffers, we stand with them. When one part advances the gospel, we celebrate and join in the mission.

    Participation is partnership.

    How We Identify

    • Learn their stories

    • Share their testimonies

    • Stay informed about global needs

    Action Step
Take a next step: attend the Persecuted Church Experience, join an EVC GO outreach, or commit to ongoing partnership with one ministry.

EVC partners with missionaries and ministries around the world to share the gospel and support communities through both spiritual and practical care in areas like India, Honduras, and Africa.

EVC serves our surrounding community through local partnerships and hands-on opportunities like our Prayer Quilting and Open Hands ministries that meet real needs with the love of Jesus.

Local Mission Efforts

Faith Works Ministry | EVC GO Outreach

Faith Works is an EVC GO Outreach ministry led by people within our church who want to make a tangible difference. We come alongside single moms, widows, and those in need—helping with home projects, sharing the love of God through our testimonies, and listening with compassion.

“Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.” — James 1:27

Church Planting

EVC currently supports six church planting efforts in the U.S. and around the world. Andrew Cheatham and his family followed God’s call to plant a church in Valley Ranch, a diverse and growing community in Irving, TX. What began as a journey of uncertainty and faith has become a mission to make disciples, build deep relationships, and see the nations worship Jesus. Learn more about how your generosity makes an impact at Andrew Cheatham’s church plant in Valley Ranch.
