Sea of Hope Ministries
Sea of Hope Ministries serves the people of St. Lucia, where natural beauty often masks significant poverty and limited access to education. Generations of low literacy have affected biblical understanding and the development of church leadership across the island. In response, the ministry is devoted to providing sound, Scripture-based discipleship and equipping leaders with solid biblical teaching. By intentionally investing in children and youth, they are helping lay a strong spiritual foundation for a healthier, Christ-centered church for years to come.
“Through the generosity of EVC GO and the faithful giving of the EVC family, that impact has multiplied in tangible and eternal ways. Thirty-five children are now sponsored with tuition, uniforms, supplies, and daily meals creating pathways to education while opening doors to minister to entire families through required parenting classes and discipleship. Over just the past year 3,900 meals have been served, children who once slept on clothes now have beds and linens, 250 children received Christmas gifts, 50 Kids Club children were given brand-new shoes, and 100 Bibles were sent to believers in Kenya. Most importantly, lives are being transformed youth are coming to Christ, 12 were recently baptized, and parents are beginning to attend church and study God’s Word. Looking ahead, Sea of Hope senses God leading them toward expanding their facility to create proper classrooms and a youth center while growing their sponsorship program trusting that through continued prayer and partnership with EVC GO, the Gospel will keep reshaping families and the future of St. Lucia.”
